About me

From my graduation at the National Training Service (SENA) as a tour guide in 2002 to earning my degree as a Social Communicator and Journalist from the Central University of Bogotá in 2008, my professional journey has been a continuous exploration of Colombia’s cultural and touristic richness.

I specialize in guiding visitors through the most fascinating corners of my country, crafting experiences that go beyond the conventional. My passion for documenting these journeys through blogs and videos has allowed me to share not only places but also the stories and traditions that make Colombia a unique destination.

For five years, I served as a tour guide at the Salt Cathedral. In 2006, I decided to venture as a freelance guide, and in 2010, I embraced the role of a travel writer. My mission has been to change the negative perception of Colombia, showcasing its diversity and virtues through my eyes and experiences.

My most significant roles have extended beyond being a guide; I’ve been an ambassador for my country, challenging stereotypes and revealing a Colombia full of wonders. My most notable achievement has been building a reputation as an exceptional professional with profound historical, cultural, and touristic knowledge.

Collaborating with local tourism companies, I’ve created unique experiences in places of great historical and cultural importance. My ability to communicate fluently in English has allowed me to connect with English-speaking visitors, offering a personalized service.

In addition to my titles as a tour guide and journalist, I continually seek to improve my skills. Certifications in digital marketing with Accenture and in Communication and Interpersonal Skills demonstrate my commitment to continuous learning.

My main motivation is growth, both personally and professionally. In the short term, I’m working on creating a website filled with touristic, historical, and cultural content. In the long term, I dream of establishing it as a reference for international visitors and travel agencies.

I define myself as a serious and disciplined individual with profound knowledge of tourism in Colombia and a clear, ethical vision of the industry. My dedication to showcasing the best of my country is not just a profession, it’s a mission that embraces the diversity and richness that Colombia has to offer. Join me on this journey!
